June 2010

Formation of The Lost Ctrl and the Start of Live Activities

In Yokohama, three individuals - Jim, Katy, and Hiro - came together to form "The Lost Ctrl." They began their live performances in the Tokyo area, with Jim serving as the original vocalist. During this time, they recorded their first demo single, "INBOUND."

Feb 2012

2nd Vocalist Dante and Lead Guitarist Tatsuki

Dante, a talented black singer from New York with a history of making a national debut with the major label RCA Records, arrived in Japan and joined the band as the 2nd vocalist. They played successful live shows at venues like Shimokitazawa SHELTER and CLUB Q. Despite completing the recording of their elusive 1st album, "HELLO DEAD MAN," they faced a setback when Dante left the band in September of the same year (and the album remained unreleased).

3rd Vocalist AMA Joins

AMA became the 3rd vocalist and, from December onwards, they embarked on an energetic series of live performances centered in Tokyo. In December, they released their 1st single, "BABEL/IDENTIFY," exclusively available at their live venues (and it sold out).

Oct 2013

Live at George Washington Ship

They released their 2nd single, "RIGHT OUT/FREEDOM," exclusively at live venues (and it's currently sold out). In August, they achieved great success by performing in front of a 2,000-strong audience on the aircraft carrier George Washington, located at the Yokosuka Naval Base. In December, they released their 3rd single, "BALL AND CHAIN/BLINK," exclusively at live venues (and it sold out).

Release of the 1st Album "ONE BLINK" and Dr. Hiro's Graduation

In October, they exclusively offered their 1st album, "ONE BLINK," (and it sold out). for sale at a live recording event at Roppongi's morph-tokyo. On the same day, Dr. Hiro graduated.

2015

2nd Dr. Masaya and Guitar & Cello Ray Join, "ROAD TO USA TOUR"

In January, new members joined - Dr. Masaya and Guitar & Cello Ray. In August, under the new lineup, they exclusively released their 4th single, "QUASAR/DYING FLOWERS,"(and it sold out) at a live recording event in Shibuya GARRET. They began shooting the music video for "QUASAR." In September, they received an offer to perform as the opening act for George Lynch's current band, LYNCH MOB, at the prestigious Los Angeles live venue, WHISKY A GO GO, on the West Coast of the United States. As a result, they undertook their first week-long USA tour, "ROAD TO USA TOUR 2015," which included in-store live performances and interviews with local media, achieving great success. In December, they released their 5th single, "BURN/WAY DOWN,"(and it sold out). and held a record release live event.

2016

National Japan Tour, AMA Graduates, Activity Hiatus

In February, they released their 1st music video, "Blink," which they filmed during their West Coast tour in Santa Monica Beach, L.A., on YouTube. In April, they began their first East-to-West Japan tour, "FROM EAST TO WEST JAPAN TOUR 2016," starting with CLUB Zion in Nagoya and covering Osaka Pangea in June, Okayama Pepperland in July, and Shibuya Cyclone in August. In August, they temporarily paused their activities after performing at the "HIGH SCHOOL CAMP" festival in Gunma. Consequently, vocalist AMA graduated. Their final single under the AMA lineup, the 6th Single "SUMMER ENDS/LIBERTY," was released. In November, Jim, the vocalist, presented a best album encompassing the years 2012 to 2016, which included ten songs, including four unreleased tracks, called "OUT OF CONTROL."(and it sold out). This limited edition was made available for purchase exclusively at live venues.
